A TRIBUTE TO EVERYONE WHO LEAVES THEIR COUNTRY FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE.
Carbone is a performance that brings Italo-Belgian history to life through music, dance and docu. The concert starts with the young Maasmechelaar Gianmarco Cellini and is creatively supplemented by Danielle Flieswasser, Nina Muñoz and Justine Bourgeus (Alias Tsar B).
"It is my ambition to tell the story of the generation that took this step. A tribute to both my grandfathers who passed away last year, and have always encouraged me to be proud of my story and roots." - Cellini
Carbone is a personal story about finding something to hold on to in your background from the urge to look for interpretation around identity and self-expression. How long will you remain a stranger in your new homeland? Is living with a dual identity difficult or enriching?
Image, light show and intense electronic music merge into a thrilling and fascinating total experience. Carbone sharpens all senses!
All theatershows are postponed and new dates will be announced soon. In the meanwhile the collective created 3 livestreams with the help of the flemish gouvernement.
